We made it to Lexington, KY tonight. The trip went really well and wasn't bad at all....aside from driving through the worst storm I've ever been in! But, we got through it and are now all settled into our hotel room for the night. The kids are in bed, although too excited/tired/worn out to sleep. Mike is out walking the dogs and I am sitting here typing away on the computer. it took us 6 hours and 45 minutes to get here, which included a one hour stop for dinner. Not bad! We plan to get up in the morning and leave right after breakfast to make sure we give ourselves plenty of time to get to Georgia in time for our 5:30pm walkthrough at the new house. We are guessing it will take 6-7 hours from here, plus any stops we'll make.
Thanks again to all of you who are thinking of us and praying for us during this transition. We'll be sure to keep this blog updated frequently!
