Hi everyone! Sorry it has been so long since I've been able to update. We've been busy getting settled into our new house and have been without internet access since Tuesday. In fact, I am at the library right now using their computers. We hope to have our internet up and running sometime soon. Until then, my updates might be kind of scarce!
We are all adjusting to our new life in Georgia. The movers were done unpacking on Wednesday afternoon, so we spent our first night in our new house on Wednesday night. We are still swamped with unpacking, organizing, cleaning, putting away, etc. but overall it is going well. We have most of the major rooms done, and are now just working on getting the other things done.
We picked up my new vehicle on Friday morning and I LOVE it! It is really big, but will give us the room that we need, especially once Xavier comes home.
We have met a few families in our subdivision and they are all very sweet! The kids LOVE having other kids around to play with and ask to play all the time. We haven't been swimming yet, but the kids are anxious! We are hoping to get more into a routine this week and will work in some more of the fun stuff!
We visited our new church this morning. It takes us about 50 minutes to get there, which is very similar to the drive to our church in Lansing. We met a few families, but had to scoot out quickly afterwards to get home in time for Lowe's to deliver my new washer and dryer. Maybe next week we can stick around longer and get the chance to meet more people!
We have a few things on our list for this week, but really just want to get the house more in order. Mike goes back to work tomorrow. I want to get the kids out to do some things and we will also be getting Marina ready to start school next Wednesday. She's very excited!
I think that's about it for now. We will try to post again in a few days. We miss everyone!
