Happy 2010! We are home from our 2 week holiday travels to Michigan. Although it was difficult leaving our family, it is nice to be home. We arrived home last night at 11:30, just 12 1/2 hours after we left Mike's parents house. It was a great trip, the kids did great, the weather was great and the traffic was great. Much unlike our trip to Michigan 2 weeks ago!
We spent the first week at my parents house. We were able to spend the week with not only my parents, but also my sister, brother-in-law and niece and my grandma. My aunt and uncle joined us on Christmas afternoon. One of the very first things the kids wanted to do was to play in the snow! We had a lot of fun and got our fill of snowy fun! Throughout the week we were also able to visit quite a few of our friends, which was so much fun! Thanks to all of you for making time to fit us into your schedules! We went to church on Christmas Eve, and the kids were so, so excited to see what Santa brought them on Christmas morning. We baked cupcakes and enjoyed cupcakes for breakfast on Christmas morning, after singing Happy Birthday to Jesus! It was a fantastic week!
We had some more great fun with Mike's family at his parents house this week. The kids had a lot of fun playing with their cousins and we filled our days with playing in the snow, ice skating, playing with new toys and enjoying the company of others. The time went much too quickly but we surely enjoyed the time we had there.
