Today was a big day.....Alexander graduated from preschool today! He is now officially a kindergartener! He was very excited for his last day of preschool today, but will miss all the little friends that he's made over the past 2 years. He did a great job at their spring program this morning and is definitely ready to move on up to kindergarten. He asks me regularly how many more days there are until August.....and we haven't even started our summer break yet! :O) Here are a few pictures of the program today.

Earlier this week we attended the first grade art show at Marina's school. Here are a few pictures of her artwork that was displayed throughout the school. She still looooooves drawing, coloring, painting, etc. and her teacher compliments her work all the time. The principal and art teacher both strongly suggested we put Marina into an art class/camp this summer to encourage her artistic capabilities. I think she would enjoy an art camp, so I have been looking into it.
This is a project that Marina's class did. Marina drew both of the mermaids in the corners, as well as the castle in the middle of the picture. Her classmates drew the fish in the picture and helped Marina color the castle and mermaids.
