Marina got off the bus today with her hand covering her mouth, trying to stifle a big grin. She lost a tooth at recess this morning! She lost another one of her bottom teeth, so this one makes 4! And she's bound to lose her other top tooth anytime now. It's very loose! So here is a picture of her missing tooth, along with one of her holding the bag that she put her tooth in at school to keep it safe until she brought it home. She was so excited!
They are also learning to read some sight words right now, so she brought home a very short story and needs to learn to read it fluently and then they can take it back to the class, read it for the teacher and get a treat! I read it through with her twice, and then took a short video of her reading it the third time. Here it is.........I'm so proud of her! (The video is kind of hard to hear, so make sure to pause the music at the bottom of the blog and turn up the volume!)
