Happy birthday, Alexander!!!

Yesterday we had a wonderful day celebrating Alexander’s 3rd birthday! I cannot believe that he’s 3 years old already! He enjoyed his party a lot and so did the rest of us!

Once our family arrived at our house we let Alexander open his gifts first. That allowed the kids more time to play with all of the wonderful new toys! And he got lots of them!!! Alexander enjoyed opening his gifts……..until he came to the first box of clothes. He quickly tossed the box aside and said, “No not nice!” He did the same thing when he opened the 2nd box of clothes, and by the time he unwrapped the 3rd box of clothes he never even opened up the box to look inside before tossing it over to me and telling me to open it! Luckily, everyone there got a good chuckle out of it and understands the mind of a 3 year old!!!

Digging into another pile of presents!!!

Alexander also really enjoyed his birthday cake and ice cream! He chose Elmo for his theme this year and we had a lot of fun with it. He polished off one piece of cake and a scoop of ice cream very quickly and asked for more. I gave him one more small piece of cake and after eating just a few more bites he’d had enough. He must really have been full to not finish a piece of cake!

The kids finished the night off by playing with every single toy that Alexander had received yesterday. And when they woke up this morning it was like Christmas morning. They both excitedly ran downstairs and jumped right into the pile of toys they left behind the night before!

Thanks to everyone who came to celebrate with Alexander yesterday, those who called with birthday wishes and those who sent him cards and gifts! He had a wonderful day and is very excited about being 3 years old!
