Alexander continues to do very well. We seems to be completely adjusted to his new family, new home, new toys, new life. He is a happy little guy that is full of spark! He's definitely into testing the boundaries with mom and dad right now.....he's not convinced that when we say "no," that we mean it! :O) He is still sleeping well, although wakes up usually once during the night. He is really good about going back to sleep quickly, though. He is starting to talk a little bit. He is successful in saying a few words....like mama, dada, doggy, all done. They aren't all that clear yet, but it's great that he's trying. He's also understanding a lot of what we say to him.

Marina loves having the title of "big sister" and has become even more independent now that she's a big girl! I am finding that this age (3 1/2) might be one of my favorites so far! It's so fun to have conversations with her and to hear some of the things that come out of her mouth! She's very into trying new things and it's just a lot of fun! She can be quite the little mother hen to her little brother and it's fun to watch. On the other hand, she can also be quite bossy with her little brother! :O)

On Sunday we are going to have Alexander baptized, so we are really looking forward to that. We are going to have most of our family there, aside from those that live too far away to join us for the weekend. This will be a really special day to share with our family and friends.

Thanks for the pictures and update.
I still check your site every couple of days and was pleasantly surprised to see some new pictures. So glad to see that everyone is doing well together. It's funny, my sister (that goes to our church) was surprised to hear that Marina was adopted. She said that she looks just like Mike. If that isn't God at work placing your children where they were born to be, I don't know what is! Have a great weekend and see you on Sunday!
