Yesterday we celebrated Alexander's 5th adoption day! I cannot believe that it was already 5 years ago that we stood in that courtroom in Krasnoyarsk, waiting for the Judge's ruling. We went from complete stress to complete joy in an instant! We are so incredibly blessed by this awesome boy and I am humbled to be his mommy! Alexander, you are such a light in our lives and we love you to the moon and back!
The kids had a performance at school in the evening, so we were really limited by what we could do to celebrate, but Alexander chose to stop for ice cream at his favorite ice cream store after the spring sing. Then we came home so he could open his gift. This year we gave him a book about adoption and a hat that we bought in Moscow 5 years ago! He loved the hat and wanted to wear it to school today!
