Fun with grandpa and grandma

Beautiful=the weather we've had for the past 5 days. We were lucky to have Mike's parents here for a visit from Friday until this morning and we all enjoyed the gorgeous Georgia weather. We had lots of time to play outside and do some fun things in Atlanta. Here are some pictures of our fun. I will warn you....I had a hard time narrowing down the pictures to post, so there are lots of them!

After church on Sunday afternoon we went into Atlanta for some outdoor fun. We started at the water fountains in Centennial Olympic Park. It was about 75 degrees and sunny and we had so much fun playing in the water!



In an effort to dry off after a fun romp through the fountains, we walked down to the playgrounds at the park and enjoyed some time there.


Then we stopped for a quick snack on our way to the World of Coca-Cola. Is there anything better than ice cream on a nice warm, sunny day?!! The last activity of the day for us was a tour through the World of Coca-Cola. It was fun, but not exactly what the kids were thinking it was. There was a 4-D theatre that scared the living daylights out of both Marina and Alexander, although they laugh about it now. The highlights for them were seeing the Coca-Cola polar bear and tasting Coke for the first (and last for a very long time!) time. And this is how Xavier enjoyed the tour:
We hope y'all have a great week and weekend. We are very excited to have my parents visit us beginning on Monday. We hope the weather is just as nice, although the odds are against us!

We also want to wish my niece, Caitlin, a very happy 4th birthday today. We love you, big girl, and hope you have a great day celebrating with mommy, daddy and your grandparents! We miss you and love you!!
